Poker pros will play without wild cards as they think it involves luck and not skill, but for a little home game it can be useful. The wild cards can amazingly enhance your hand, they can turn an ordinary hand into a game winning hand. If you are playing with a wild card you have to expect the hands to be than those in regular poker and bet accordingly.

Joker: Joker can be used as any card or only for aces, straights and flushes.
Deuces: Each 2 card of the same number are wild.
One Eyed Jacks: The jack of spades and hearts have only one eye and these jacks can be played as any card you want, therefor they are wild.
